Do I need Spotify Premium?
No. DiscogMix works with any Spotify account, Free or Premium.
Does this create playlists in my library?
Yes. DiscogMix creates a playlist from your selected artists and starts playing it. The playlist stays in your library so you can replay it later.
Can I listen to my playlist on my phone or other devices?
Yes. Chrome is only needed to create the mix. What it creates is a real Spotify playlist, so it syncs automatically and plays from the Spotify app on your phone, tablet, car, speakers, anywhere Spotify runs.
How is this different from Artist Radio?
Artist Radio injects similar artists you didn’t pick. DiscogMix ONLY plays artists you selected, from their FULL catalogs.
Is my data safe?
I don't collect listening data or personal information. The only data sent to my server is a one-way hash of your Spotify account and your weekly mix count, used to enforce free-tier limits and manage Pro licenses. The hash can't be reversed to identify you.
Does it work on Firefox/Edge?
Works on Chrome and any Chromium-based browser, including Edge, Brave, and Arc. Firefox is not currently supported.
What if Spotify changes something?
I watch Spotify's web player and ship updates when something breaks. The extension auto-updates through the Chrome Web Store.
